The British Virgin Islands Ports Authority (BVIPA) would like to notify the public of the updated opening hours for its Ports commencing Monday, May 11th.

Businesses in the Territory are reminded to submit their Workforce Assessment to the Department of Labour and Workforce Development. 

The Cabinet Office is notifying the public that Statutory Instrument Nos. 49 Imposition of a Curfew (No.15) Order, 2020 is now available for public information on the Virgin Islands Official Gazette website at https://eservices.gov.vg/gazette/.  

Operators and vendors in the market square area in Road Town are being asked to contact the Ministry of Transportation, Works and Utilities.........

The public is advised that appointments for the collection of work permit renewals will be prioritised for those businesses approved by the Government for reopening at this time, and for those businesses that have submitted the Workforce Assessment. 

Parents of students attending public schools who are in need of devices to facilitate online learning, are notified that today Wednesday May 6 is the deadline..........

The public is notified that the Office of the Complaints Commissioner will open from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Persons are encouraged to make an appointment via complaints@gov.vg or by calling 468-5123.

The Deputy Governor’s Office Sister Islands Unit is advising the public that Sister Islands District Offices will be functioning remotely during this time. Office visits will be carried out by appointments only from Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

The public is advised that effective immediately, appointments are to be made when conducting business with the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).  

El Ministerio de Educación, Cultura, Asuntos de la Juventud, Pesca y Agricultura está aconsejando a los padres de estudiantes que asisten a escuelas públicas que necesitan dispositivos electrónicos para facilitar el aprendizaje en línea, que se comuniquen con el director de sus  escuelas respectivas para completar un formulario de solicitud electrónica.
