Effective Monday, 16th March the British Virgin Islands Ports Authority (BVIPA) has announced heightened security measures for the Port Purcell cargo facility in Tortola.
The British Virgin Islands Ports Authority (BVIPA) are reminding yachters of the announcement that was issued on 13th March regarding the Ports locations that are processing yacht clearances.

All persons who traveled on Tuesday March 10 on British Airways flight 2157 from London to Antigua and continued onward to the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport are asked to contact the Ministry of Health immediately at telephone 468-2274 between 8:30 a.m-4:30 p.m.

The Cabinet Office is notifying the public that Statutory Instruments No. 11 Immigration and Passport (Prohibited Persons) Order, 2020 and No. 12 Infectious Diseases (Notification) (Amendment) Order, 2020 are now available for public information on the Virgin Islands Official Gazette website at https://eservices.gov.vg/gazette/.

The Cabinet Office is notifying the public that Statutory Instrument No. 10 Immigration and Passport (Authorised Ports of Entry) (Amendment) Regulations 2020 is now available for public information on the Virgin Islands Official Gazette website at https://eservices.gov.vg/gazette/.
The public is reminded to be vigilant in protecting against contracting and the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) by engaging in risk reducing behaviour.
The Government of the Virgin Islands is inviting all taxi-drivers and tour operators operating at the cruise pier, vendors on the Tortola Pier Park and Craft Alive to an important meeting in the Jost Van Dyke Room at Maria’s by the Sea, tomorrow Saturday March 14 at 7:00 p.m. The meeting is being held to discuss the impact of the Coronavirus COVID-19 on the Tourism industry.
All are invited to make a special effort to attend.
