Madam Speaker, I rise to present to this Honourable House the 2023 Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) Examination results for the Virgin Islands.

Madam Speaker, fifty years ago, a bold decision was taken to develop the first Caribbean examination body and so the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC) was born! Over those 50 years, this regional organisation now serving 16 countries has become one of the more successful regional organisations.

Director for the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports, Mrs. Brenda Lettsome-Tye has said that the department will be hosting a Youth Business Expo to highlight youth entrepreneurs in the Territory.
Minister for Education, Youth Affairs and Sports, Honourable Sharie B. de Castro is attending the 10th Commonwealth Youth Ministers Meeting (10CYMM) in London this week.
