Cabinet has approved the re-appointment of Mr. Russell Harrigan as chairman of the BVI Tourist Board. Mr. Harrigan has held the position since 2011.

Today I would like to engage with you on some of the pertinent international issues of the day and then turn to my Government’s efforts in tourism development.   

One hundred and twelve employees from the Little Dix Bay Resort have received employment following the closure of the facility for renovations on May 1.

Officials representing the Government of the Virgin Islands have held successful meetings with High Commissioners from Ghana and South Africa on developing cooperation in a range of sectors.

The Government of the Virgin Islands is reminding the employees of Rosewood Little Dix Bay hotel that the Help Desk in Virgin Gorda is open. 

Plans are underway for the development of a more effective safety programme for taxi drivers in the Virgin Islands.
