After consultation with the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and other senior health officials, a decision was made that cruise ship M/V Costa Favolosa will not be allowed to call on the Virgin Islands today.

Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie has signed an agreement with Peter Island Limited for the redevelopment of its resort on behalf of the Government and people of the Virgin Islands.
Mr. Rhodni Skelton, Deputy Director of the British Virgin Islands Tourist Board and Film Commission (BVITB&FC), has been appointed to act as Director of Tourism during the absence of the Director of the Tourism, Mrs. Sharon Flax Brutus. Mrs. Flax Brutus is currently on vacation leave and returns to office in the latter half of February 2020.
