Minister for Health and Social Development Honourable Carvin Malone has reported that there are 11 active cases of COVID-19 in the British Virgin Islands.

The public is notified that the BVI Health Services Authority’s Pharmacy will close at noon tomorrow Friday December 18 to the public. 

The Ministry of Health and Social Development and BVI Health Services Authority this week welcome a team of experts from Public Health England (PHE) to provide technical support and advice on key health initiatives.

Due to recent breaches in quarantine procedures by guests testing positive for Covid-19, the Public Health Division of the Ministry of Health is currently conducting contact tracing and investigations. Any person who patronised the following establishments are urged to contact Public Health Division to be tested for COVID-19:

The Ministry of Health and Social Development, in partnership with the Pan-American Health Organisation, is encouraging persons in the Virgin Islands to participate in a confidential survey to determine how the Territory is coping with the global COVID-19 pandemic.
