Staff of the Public Library of the Virgin Islands are featured as they observe the official opening of Library Week 2024 under the theme, "Libraries: Moving full STEAM Upstream".

As we celebrate Library Week from April 22^nd to April 27^th, 2024, this week holds special significance as it coincides with World Book and Copyright Day on April 23^rd, a day celebrated globally to promote the joy of reading and respect for intellectual property.

Chief Librarian, Ms. Suzanne Greenaway has said that libraries and literacy are an integral part of community building as the Territory observes Library Week 2024.
