The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force will add four new law enforcement vehicles to their fleet as the Government of the Virgin Islands continues to invest in law enforcement.
Good day Ladies and Gentlemen. During the evening of Friday 6th November, 2020 the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) conducted a covert operation and executed a search warrant at a property in Balsam Ghut.
I would like to deliver an update on the state of security in the Territory and I am joined by the Commissioner of Police, who can update on recent successful operations.
The Joint Task Force will be receiving a donation of critical maritime security equipment today from the Governor’s Office in support of its work to protect the Territory’s borders.
Officers of the Joint Task Force are expressing thanks to members of the public for their role in the success of a recent operation in Road Town, which resulted in two illegal immigrants being detained.
The public is invited to assist in the search for Junior Peters today, July 3, beginning at 4:00 p.m. Persons are asked to meet by the tamarind tree at the beginning of Horse Path Hill where further instructions will be given.
Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie has commended Border Protection and Law Enforcement agencies for their efforts to ensure the safety of the Territory’s borders and safety on land.
