Premier of the Virgin Islands, Honourable Dr. Natalio Wheatley is inviting the public to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the historic Great March of 1949, in a ceremonial march on Sunday, November 24.

Local author and educator Mrs. Medita Malone Wheatley will be launching an edited book titled, “A Snapshot of the Virgin Islands Secondary School Under Principal Carlisle Scott”, British Virgin Islands” on Monday, May 6.
Premier and Minister of Culture, Dr. the Honourable Natalio Wheatley, Junior Minister for Culture Honourable, Alvera Maduro-Caines, and the Director of Culture Dr. Katherine Smith are featured at public consultation meetings held on the Department of Culture’s policy and strategy.
Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie and Deputy Premier and Minister for Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture, Dr. the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley attended the 13th Annual African Remembrance ceremony observed on Sunday, February 7.
The Territory’s residents paid homeage to the Virgin Islands’ first Chief Minister, Hamilton Lavity Stoutt at the 23rd Annual Memorial Celebration and 18th Wreath Laying ceremony on March 5.
