It is my pleasure to be here to share in the joy of families, friends, and educators as we celebrate the 2018 Graduates of the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College this afternoon.

BVIslanders and Belongers are reminded that courses in the construction and marine industries will be offered at the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College (HLSCC) on Tortola and Virgin Gorda from April 6 to June 6 and April 10 to 19 respectively.

The Government of the Virgin Islands is continuing to put measures in place to provide a skilled labour force to assist in the Territory’s recovery efforts.

The public is invited to participate in an exciting essay competition organised by the Ministry of Education and Culture in collaboration with the H. Lavity Stoutt Commemorative Committee.

Residents are invited to participate in the 23^rd annual celebration and 18^th wreath laying ceremony on March 5, topay homage to the Territory’s first Chief Minister, the late Honourable H. Lavity Stoutt.

“What would H. Lavity Stoutt do? Right here! Right now!”  is the theme for the 23^rd annual celebration and 18^th wreath laying ceremony to pay homage to the Territory’s first Chief Minister, the late Honourable H. Lavity Stoutt.

The public is notified that the H. Lavity Stoutt Memorial Celebration and Wreath Laying Ceremony can be viewed online.

The public is asked to note that members of the H. Lavity Stoutt Commemorative Committee will make a guest appearance on the JTV television programme, Spotlight this evening at 8:00 p.m.
