Premier and Minister of Culture, Dr. the Honourable Natalio Wheatley, Junior Minister for Culture Honourable, Alvera Maduro-Caines, and the Director of Culture Dr. Katherine Smith are featured at public consultation meetings held on the Department of Culture’s policy and strategy.

The public is invited to the 50th anniversary of the British Virgin Islands/United States Virgin Islands Friendship Day celebrations on Saturday, October 22 at the Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park at 10:00 a.m. under the theme “Our Golden Jubilee: A Resilient Bond of Friendship.” 

The public is advised effective immediately and until further notice the portion of land at the Ellis Thomas Downs which is owned by Thomas family may not be utilised in any way by the Government, its agents and/or assigns. This includes the Horseowners’ Association, and any person connected thereto.
