The Government of the Virgin Islands is continuing consultations with the public on the proposed expansion of the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport.
Premier of the Virgin Islands, Honourable Dr. Natalio D. Wheatley will be absent from the Territory from Sunday, May 26 to Thursday, May 30, for the purpose of attending the fourth International Conference on Small Island Developing States (SIDS) in Antigua and Barbuda.

Deputy Governor, Mr. David Archer, Jr. will act in the Office of Governor until March 17 in the absence of His Excellency, the Governor Mr. Daniel Pruce who will be away from the Territory.

Deputy Governor, Mr. David Archer, Jr. will act in the Office of Governor from November 12 to November 24 in the absence of His Excellency the Governor, Mr. John J. Rankin, CMG, who will be out of the Territory.
Premier and Minister of Finance Honourable Dr. Natalio Wheatley is away from the Territory attending the Monaco Yacht Show until October 1 and the United Nations Meeting in New York on October 3 and 4.

As Premier of the Virgin Islands, I fully support free speech and freedom of the press which are pillars of democracy. Both should be exercised responsibly and according to high international standards.
