Wherever we live in the Commonwealth, we can always benefit from being open to the ideas and encouragement of those around us. Each of us can also make a positive difference in the lives of others by being willing to contribute and offer support.
I am Myron V. Walwyn, Minister for Education and Culture and it is with pleasure that I take this opportunity to bring you brief remarks to open this year’s Education Week activities as we celebrate the opportunities in education with the theme, “Instructing Every Child through Inclusive Education”. This year we have also included a subtheme, which reminds us - “Education Includes Me.”
The occasion for which we have gathered here today, may not be glamorous or even of immediate interest to many, but it is certainly one that can seriously and negatively impact the safety of many and the Territory at large
Let me add my personal welcome to all of you, to the Official Grand Opening of the new Tortola Pier Park, here on Wickham's Cay 1, in The Capital City of Road Town!
Madame Speaker, I am grateful to God and to the people of this Territory for giving me the opportunity to deliver the first Budget Address in the new term of this Administration.
Madam Speaker, as the Minister responsible for Sea Ports in the Territory, it is with great pride and joy, that I give this Honourable House, a Report on the Cruise Pier Marine and Landside Development, to date.
