Good day, as Premier of the Virgin Islands, I am pleased to report on progress with our recovery efforts following the passage of Hurricanes Irma and Maria. Devastation is obvious to all, but I want you to know that your Government is committed to leading the Territory through this challenging time.
Virgin Islanders, Residents and Visitors, good day!
As you are aware, Hurricane Irma is approaching the Territory and is predicted to start impacting our islands as a powerful category 4 hurricane on Wednesday.
By now, you should be on high alert as we prepare for intense weather conditions expected from Hurricane Irma, which as of 11:00a.m was located near latitude 16.8 degrees North, longitude 53.3 degrees West.
