His Excellency the Governor Augustus J. U. Jaspert chaired the Meetings held on 13th February, 2019 at the Peebles Hospital, Conference Room P12.

His Excellency the Governor Augustus J. U. Jaspert chaired the Meetings held on 31st January, 2019 and 6th February, 2019 at the Peebles Hospital, Conference Room P12.

The business of running a country never stops and today, in this season, I am glad to be here to continue the work we have started as a Government, to ensure that, among other areas, our road network is maintained and upgraded for the safety of every resident and visitor to these islands.

This handover ceremony this morning marks the fourth school building that we are able to open from among the buildings that were deemed unusable after the 2017 disaster.  Immediately following the 2017 disasters, we assessed all school buildings and classified them as usable or unusable. Using that information, we were able to make several appeals for assistance from the business community, private donors and other organisations. We have benefitted greatly as a ministry from the public-private partnership that we share with the business community and today is yet another example of the benefits of this initiative.  

I am happy to be here today to celebrate with all of you – students, teachers and parents.

My fellow Citizens:  I come before you this evening for my final official speech as Premier of this Territory.

I am pleased and have the privilege to be in the right place at the right time to honour a gentleman who has contributed greatly to his country, the British Virgin Islands.

This Scope of Works for this activity forms a request for interested landowners (individuals and firms) to propose their site to be the location at which vessels will be staged (known as the Staging Area).
