Around the world, the Coronavirus COVID-19 continues to spread. While we do not have any confirmed cases in the Territory, Government has taken the approach that the detection, containment, mitigation and management of this Coronavirus remains a national priority.

Fellow Virgin Islanders and friends, I am pleased to report that Government agencies continue to work across sectors in a vigorous response to the global coronavirus disease outbreak, (COVID-19).
Good afternoon everyone. I adopt the protocol which has already been established, but allow me to acknowledge the Premier and other members of cabinet, the members of the House of Assembly, permanent secretary in my ministry, the Chief Education Officer, and other education officials, principals, teachers, parents, students.
Good afternoon, It is a pleasure to be here on this auspicious occasion. Before I begin my remarks, I must say to you that I felt chills listening to the Territorial Song, and my heart is warmed by the creative designs of Territorial wear adorning the bodies of you wonderful people. I must say that these were chaired by our beloved Eileen Parsons.
