Before I address the Quarantine Protocols Related to Health; as Minister with responsibility for Health and Social Development with the overall lead for tackling the dynamics of the COVID-19 pandemic, I am pleased to provide you with the latest status report on our Territory’s situation.

Good day Ladies and Gentlemen.  During the evening of Friday 6^th November, 2020 the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) conducted a covert operation and executed a search warrant at a property in Balsam Ghut.

I would like to deliver an update on the state of security in the Territory and I am joined by the Commissioner of Police, who can update on recent successful operations.

The Government and people of the Virgin Islands extend heartfelt congratulations to United States' President-Elect Joe Biden and Vice President-Elect Kamala Harris on their successful election to office.

As Minister for Labour, I took before the House of Assembly the Labour Code (Amendment) Act, 2020, on the 11th June, 2020 which extended the lay-off period from three months in total to a period not to exceed 31st October, 2020.
