Madam Speaker, I am pleased to inform this Honourable House that the British Virgin Islands Health Services Authority (BVIHSA) has entered into a partnership with Back to Life Limited, a UK-based life support training company, to enhance the emergency response capabilities of healthcare professionals across the Territory.  

Madam Speaker, October is observed as Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness about the devastating impacts that domestic and gender-based violence has on individuals, families, and communities both here in the Virgin Islands and globally.

Madam Speaker, I rise today to join the global observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness about one of the most prevalent cancers predominately affecting women. 

Madam Speaker, I rise to provide an update on the progress of the airport runway expansion project, a critical initiative aimed at enhancing our aviation infrastructure to support the future growth and prosperity of the Virgin Islands.

Madam Speaker, I rise to inform this Honourable House of my upcoming participation in the 30th Annual Florida Caribbean Cruise Association (FCCA) Cruise Conference and Tradeshow, which will be held on the 22^nd – 25^th October 2024 in St. Maarten.

Madam Speaker, my final statement to this Honorable House is on the significant advancement in our digital transformation efforts to enhance public service delivery and improve access to essential utilities through innovation and technology.
