The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions will launch an appeal against the erroneous decisions of the Learned Trial Judge in the matter of R v Rodriguez, Harrigan and Bernard (murder of Trumayne Daway).

There is a story sometimes told to describe heaven and hell. It is referred to as the parable of the long spoons. In this story, a man visits heaven and hell and learns a fundamental difference between a life of misery and one of joy.
Through our stakeholders’ meeting and other formal and informal meetings, the Government has listened to the cries of the employers, the employees, particularly work permit holders, along with the staff at the Department of Labour and Workforce Development and listeners may recall the meeting with stakeholders on the 10th of February.
