Like most of you, I was saddened to learn of the passing earlier today of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, the British Overseas Territories, Crown Dependencies and other realms; and Head of the Commonwealth.

On Thursday 25th August, we updated you regarding the progress made and needed to complete the second floor of the Enis Adams Primary School (EAPS) building.
In two weeks, teachers and students will returning to the classroom after a long summer break. I wish all teachers and students a productive learning experience as we all work together to transform the lives of our most precious resource - our children.

I am happy to once again have press conference to keep the public updated on current matters. This morning I am pleased to be joined by Minister for Natural Resources and Labour Hon. Melvin “Mitch” Turnbull, who will also make a statement. Today we will update on environment, agriculture and other matters.
The Virgin Islands Climate Change Trust Fund was established by The Virgin Islands Climate Change Trust Fund Act, 2015 as an independent entity responsible for raising, managing, and disbursing funds to build our resilience to climate change impacts and to reduce our carbon emissions.
