As you will know by now, we are currently on a hurricane watch as well as the previously issued tropical storm warning in relation to Tropical Storm Ernesto.  

I want to send my best wishes to the people of the Virgin Islands as they prepare to celebrate Emancipation Day.

What an excellent Virgin Islands’ evening to be here in the company of colleagues from around the Eastern Caribbean, local partners and development partners in the shared spirit of focused action for the environment and sustainability.

His Excellency, the Acting Governor Mr. David D. Archer Jr., chaired the meeting held on 5th June, 2024, in the absence of Governor Daniel Pruce, who was overseas on official business. The meeting was held at the Premier's Conference Room.

The Government of the Virgin Islands will host the Eleventh Council of Ministers: Environmental Sustainability (COM:ES 11) from Wednesday 24th July to Thursday 25th July, under the theme “From Aspiration to Focused Action”.
