Today as Minister of Health, I will give an update of COVID-19 test results; the receipt and administration of additional AstraZeneca vaccines; the decision of Cabinet to reduce crowd sizes for all events, and the strong, very strong advice to consider the cancellation of this weekend's group or crowd activities and to observe ALL HEALTH & SAFETY PROTOCOLS.
I am extremely saddened to hear of the passing of Mr. Petr Kellner. Mr. Kellner was a very private individual but his love for these Virgin Islands, especially Virgin Gorda, was well known. This love shown was manifested following the devastating hurricanes of 2017 when he jumpstarted recovery efforts by making funds available to start the clean-up process.

The Ministry of Health is notifying the public that a person who tested positive for COVID-19 attended the funeral held on March 27th, 2021 at the Sea Cow’s Bay Methodist Church.
His Excellency, the Governor Mr. John J. Rankin, CMG, chaired the Meeting held on 17th March, 2021, which was held at the Financial Services Commission’s Conference Room.

I would like to begin by thanking ECLAC for providing an international platform for the Caribbean as a group of Small Island Developing States to present our challenges, as well as for creating spaces for us to dialogue on solutions to the very real problems that the Caribbean faces.
