Assessing students to determine any learning and any other challenges they might have.
Process
Step 1: Contact is made by the Principal with the Student Services Center to inform them of the
student that is being referred.
Step 2: Written correspondence is submitted by the Principal (email accepted) to the Education
Psychologist.
Step 3: Appointment is made with the Education Psychologist.
Step 4: Student and Parent visits the Education Psychologist to deal with referral.
Step 5: Student is assessed by the Education Psychologist.
Step 6: Report is given to the parents and principal verbally and in writing depending on the
confidentiality of the issue.
