Process
Step 1: Employee writes to the Department of Human Resources, at least eight weeks before the due date, requesting the need to start maternity leave. The Employee is to provide proof of pregnancy and a letter of confinement from a medical practitioner.
Step 2: The Department of Human Resources confirms eligibility and writes to the officer confirming the start and end dates.
