Process
Step 1: Customer completes and submit the attached application form to the Minister of Communications and Works.
Step 2: The Electrical Inspector then conducts a site visit to determine the accurate location for the stand-by generator.
Step 3: Once the application is successful, the Minister grants the installation approval.
Step 4: After installation, another inspection is conducted by the Inspector to determine correctness of installation. A Non-Refundable fee of $50 is paid before the inpection.
Step 5: A certificate of Approval for Electrical Installation (Form B) is then issued to the Owner(s).
N.B. Only a Licensed Electrician can make the application for inspection after the installation.

Additional Notes
It is an offense to install a Stand-by Generator without obtaining prior written permission from the Minister.
