Permission to allow parents or guardians to home school their children ages 5-17.

Process

Step 1:  Submit letter of application or letter of request to the Ministry of Education and Culture with all
            supporting documents.

Step 2:  Application is reviewed by the Ministry of Education and Culture.

Step 3:  Application is granted as long as all of the documents submitted has meet the requirements.

Step 4:  Periodic visits would be conducted by the Ministry of Education and Culture during the period of
            home schooling.

Supporting Documents

Required Documents for Home Schooling: 

  1. Letter of request for permission to conduct homeschooling
  2. Student's immunization records
  3. Proof of enrollment in home school institutions 
  4. Curriculum outline for the required levels 
  5. Commitment from the learning institutions to monitor students 
  6. Schedule & Education Plan (linked with the curriculum)
  7. Past school records and periodic reports on progress
