This service provides for recruitment of Officers to administer the work of the General Elections at Polling and Counting Stations.

Process

Step 1:  Notice of recruitment is advertised via the Media.

Step 2:  Interested applicants submit letters of interest.

Step 3:  Letters are received and registered at the Elections Office.

Step 4:  Appointments and Oaths are prepared for persons selected.

Step 5:  Applicants are contacted and informed of decision to retain their services.

Step 6:  Applicant collects their appointment letters and sign and affirm/take oaths.

Step 7:  Relevant documents/information is issued to appointees.

Step 8:  Officers are educated on their assigned roles and responsibilities.

Step 9:  Lists/letters are prepared for appointees to be released for duty.

Step 10:  ID cards are prepared and issued to appointees.

Step 11:  Appointees apply to vote at Advance Poll.

Step 12:  Appointees perform their duties at the polls.
