Displaying fireworks in the British Virgin Islands is prohibited by law. Anyone who is desirous of having fireworks displayed should apply to the Ministry of Communication and Works for a one off exemption

Process

Step 1:  Applicants must make arrangements with a BVI Licensed Pyro Technician. 

Step 2:  The Pyro Technician mails the application to the Minister of Communication and Works on behalf of the customer.

Step 3:  Once the exemption is approved, the Pyro Technician would receive a written notice of exemption for the customer.

  • Quantity of Fireworks to be used
