The Employee Mobility Programme offers an alternative employment option for public officers, members of the Force and employees of Statutory Agencies who are interested in transferring within the public sector. It allows for public officers, members of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (the ‘Force’) and employees of Statutory Agencies to transfer between the Public Service, Force and participating Statutory Agencies , while maintaining their pensionable years of service.

Process

To apply for a transfer under employee mobility, you must complete both the organisation's employment application and the Employee Mobility Application. 

If you are an employee of a Statutory Agency or member of the Force and are interested in transferring under employee mobility to the Public Service, the following applies: 
1. Complete the Government of the Virgin Islands' Employment Application; 
2. Complete the Employee Mobility Application; and
3. Submit to the address listed at the bottom of the Vacancy Notice.

If you are a public officer interested in transferring to a Statutory Agency or the Force, the following applies:
1. Complete the respective organisation's employment application form;
2. Complete the Employee Mobility Application; and
3. Submit to the respective organisation for processing.

Method of Applying

Persons interested in applying to the Public Service under mobility should submit both the Employment Application and Employee Mobility Application (see attachments)
