A report on incident(s) that occured on Government owned vehicles from Ministries and Departments.

Process

Step 1:  The Ministries and Departments submit an Accident Report to Ministry of Finance.

Step 2:  The report is processed to the Attorney General Chambers (AGs).

Step 3:  Upon the AGs decision, the payee will be informed and the Ministry will authorize to pay only if government is liable.

Step 4:  Treasury is authorized to process a cheque.

Step 5:  The cheque is returned to the Ministry of Finance and the file is forwarded to the AGs to execute a deed of release.

Step 6:  Upon collection of the cheque at the Ministry of Finance, the payee must sign an acknowledgement of receipt of payment.
