A number of changes have been made to the operation of the Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital and community health services as a result of the activation of the BVI Health Services Authority’s Hospital Incident Command System in response to the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19).
Director of the Water and Sewerage Department, Mrs. Perline Scatliffe-Leonard said that it is everyone’s responsibility to conserve water and is reminding residents to be mindful of how the commodity is utilised.
The Government of the Virgin Islands is closely monitoring the situation in relation to COVID-19. At this time, there are no restrictions announced for the Public Service. In the event that any such restrictions are announced by the Government, the Virgin Islands Shipping Registry (VISR) would provide guidance on levels of service that we are able to offer.

Director of the Taxi and Livery Commission (TLC) Mr. Jevaughn Parsons, held two administrative hearings since taking office, to resolve complaints filed against taxi operators.
Presentations were made to 8th Grade female students at the Elmore Stoutt High School as the Office of Gender Affairs celebrated women in male dominated careers in observance of International Women’s Day.
