The BVI is hosting the Scrub Island Blue Marlin Invitational Tournament as efforts continue in the development of the Territory’s Sports Fishing Industry.
Persons who have been working in the Territory for five years and are changing employers will no longer be required to leave the Territory during the transitioning process.
The Ministry of Natural Resources and Labour is reminding persons, especially the business community, that on October 1 the Territory’s minimum wage will be raised from $4.00 to $6.00 per hour.

Acting Director for the National Parks Trust, Ms. Lynda Varlack is sending out a special appeal to members of the community to refrain from removing plants from the national parks, including the Queen Elizabeth II Park.
