The Office of Gender Affairs is recognising women for their longstanding contribution to the Virgin Islands in the field of Information Communications Technology (ICT) in observance of International Women’s Day.
Premier and Minister of Finance, Dr. the Honourable Natalio Wheatley said the launch of the National Sustainable Development Plan (NSDP) marks a significant milestone in the Territory’s political and socioeconomic development.

Consultancy firm PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory Services Limited (PwC) has reported that 585 survey responses were received and 15 stakeholder meetings were held with Public Officers across the Virgin Islands Public Service.
Minister for Health and Social Development Honourable, Marlon A. Penn says he hopes the repairs made to the community centres across the Territory will help to build resilience and make the Virgin Islands better prepared for any future disaster.
The Safe Haven Transitional Centre recently concluded its monthly long accident Prevention Education Initiative with a $5,000 donation to an eighteen-year-old who lost his leg in a scooter accident in 2021.
The Virgin Islands is said to be American Airlines “Sexiest New Destination” as the Territory gears up for a new service with the airline to Miami, which is expected to be launched on June 1.

Premier and Minister of Finance, Dr. the Honourable Natalio Wheatley has said that the people of the Virgin Islands are at the heart of the National Sustainable Development Plan that is to be launched next week.
The Government of the Virgin Islands is inviting tenders for the construction of 3,813 linear feet of concrete road way including the construction of sidewalks, drainage systems and retaining wall structures commencing at Hodge’s Creek to Paraquita Bay, Tortola, British Virgin Islands.
