Deputy Premier and Minister for Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture, Dr. the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley has said that the organisation of sports in the Territory is expected to be revolutionised with the introduction of the Virgin Islands National Sports Council Bill to the House of Assembly.

Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie will present the Government’s annual Financial Statement, or Budget Address on Thursday, November 12 under the theme: INNOVATION: Building a stable, diverse, competitive economy with strong industries and partnerships for regional and international trade, by building and harnessing the creative capacity of our human capital.
The Government will introduce Environmental Management and Climate Resilience Act during the Third Session of the Fourth House of Assembly to provide for the sound and sustainable management of natural resources in the Territory.
The Immigration and Passport Act (CAP.130) will be revised and amended to align with international standards and best practice and to ensure that the legislation is in keeping with the transformation plan for the Department of Immigration.

In a congratulatory letter dated 6th November, 2020 Premier and Minister of Finance Honourable Andrew A. Fahie on behalf of the Government and People of the Virign Islands congratulated newly elected Prime Minister Dr. the Honourable Ralph Gonsalves on his re-election and pledged continued collaboration and support as St. Vincent and the Grenadines enters a new chapter of its political life.
The Government of the Virgin Islands and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) have pledged greater cooperation on post COVID-19 recovery, climate resilience and the sustainable development goals.
