The Government of the Virgin Islands is hosting a series of public meetings on two proposed Trade Legislation: Business Licencing Act, 2020 and Virgin Islands Investment Act, 2020.
The BVI Ports Authority (BVIPA), reopening of the cruise port has been announced with government approval for June, 2021 for cruise vessels with fully vaccinated passengers and crew.

Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie has been hailed by the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (UN ECLAC) and regional partners for the British Virgin Islands’ steadfast international leadership and for spearheading the first ever High-Level Meeting of the Associate Member Countries of ECLAC on sustainable development.
The British Virgin Islands (BVI) has updated the Association of Caribbean States (ACS) on the rollout of the Government’s COVID-19 vaccination programme at the regional organisation’s Inaugural Meeting of the ACS Multi-Stakeholder Task Force on COVID-19 held virtually on March 8.
The Virgin Islands joined nearly 400,000 residents of the Caribbean and Latin America on March 11 to participate in Caribe Wave, the annual tsunami preparedness exercise.
