The BVI House Asia was included as an offshore jurisdiction that offers beneficial structures to help families and corporates in their growing needs for wealth planning and management at the fifth annual Asian Wealth Management Forum 2015. The forum was organised by Hubbis, of which BVI House Asia was a sponsor.
The Ministry of Health and Social Development has launched a four part series on pharmaducation to educate the public on asthma management strategies, drug interactions, pharmacovigilance and proper disposal of unwanted medicines.

Over 150 top government officials from the Overseas Countries and Territories Association (OCTA) will gather in the Virgin Islands for the Annual OCTA Ministerial Conference on February 26 and the 13th Annual Overseas Countries and Territories (OCTs) European Union (EU) Forum on February 27.
Thirteen (13) schools have advanced to the Spelling Bee Finals of the 2015 National Inter-school Spelling Bee Competition after competitive preliminary rounds held earlier this week for both primary and secondary schools.
The Social Development Department is hosting a “Parents Cooperative Colleagues” seminar that will provide support to parents to strengthen their co-parenting skills while promoting harmonious families within the Territory.
The British Virgin Islands will join several other countries and territories in testing their tsunami readiness during the simulation exercise, Caribe Wave/Lantex 2015, scheduled for Wednesday, March 25.
Forecasters are uncertain about how the 2015 Atlantic hurricane season will look if the currently developing weak El Niño persists throughout the summer months.
This initial uncertainty comes ahead of the first quantitative forecast for 2015 which will be issued on April 9.

The 20th Memorial Celebrations of Honourable H. Lavity Stoutt’s passing will be observed on Monday March 2, as Government in collaboration with H. Lavity Stoutt Commemorative Committee pay homage to the Territory’s first Chief Minister.
