Chief Executive Officer at the BVI Health Services Authority, Mrs. Paula Chester-Cumberbatch has announced that weekly immunization services have resumed.

Mrs. Chester-Cumberbatch said “Vaccines are very important in the prevention of diseases and our Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI) team is committed to providing immunization services through the administration of safe effective vaccines to all children and families within the Territory.”

She added that parents with children one to five years old who have not received their MMR Vaccine are encouraged to take those children to the respective immunization area.

Clinic sessions will resume in the following areas from the dates noted as scheduled:
