The Department of Waste Management is soliciting qualifying waste incinerator manufacturers, parts suppliers and or technicians to conduct a comprehensive diagnostic assessment of the Waste Incinerator Plant.

The assessment includes identifying all parts required, identifying alternative part suppliers and the works required to rehabilitate the plant.

The successful bidder will be required to produce, the following:

  1. Prepare Diagnostic Report
  2. Prepare Parts Logistic Plan with supplier information
  3. Outline Rehabilitation Plan with a schedule, which includes testing and commissioning the Plant.

Interested companies local and foreign are asked to submit their bids in a sealed envelope or email to dwm@gov.vg with the name of the company and reference “Assessment of The Waste Incinerator Plant” with the following documents enclosed.

  • Quotation for work.
  • Certificate of good standing from Inland Revenue Department, Social Security Board and National Health Insurance, if applicable
  •  Valid Trade License 2024, if applicable.
  • Certified copy of your company registration certificate
  • Company profile or resume outlining previous experience in the development or repair/maintenance of waste incinerators.
  • List of applicable client references ensuring a name, email address and contact number is stated.

Bids will be evaluated based on price, experience of the firm/individual and length of time to deliver the services. Please note that all documents must be included for consideration.  The deadline for submission of quotation is Tuesday November 26, 2024 at 4pm.

All quotations must be hand delivered to the Department of Waste Management Office located on the second floor of the Property Union Building adjacent to Happy Lion Restaurant Botanic Station, Tortola, and Virgin Islands.
