The Department of Waste Management is accepting quotations for the removal of existing recycling bins and the provision and installation of new recyclable bins constructed from domestic generated recyclables materials on both Virgin Gorda and Tortola.

Contract requirements include removal and installation of 60 bins across Tortola and Virgin Gorda.

Requirements:

Interested companies are asked to submit bids in a sealed envelope with the name of the company and referenced, “Change Out and Installation of Recycling Bin”. The following documents should be enclosed.

• Quotation for work
• Certificate of good standing from the Inland Revenue Department
• Social Security Board
• National Health Insurance
• Valid Trade License 2023
• Proof of ownership of equipment or access to it (pictures, insurance, registration, etc.)
• Two letters of referrals
• Design concept for the bins including proper signage.
• Cost per bin
• Cost per installation

All bids will be evaluated based on price, equipment, experience, and reliability. Please note that all documents must be included for consideration. The deadline for submission of the quotation is Monday, October 2, 2023 at 12:00 noon.   All quotations must be hand-delivered to the Department of Waste Management Office located on the second floor of the Union Property Building next to Happy Lion Restaurant.
