The Department of Waste Management is accepting quotations for the removal of waste materials from the temporary derelict storage site at Pockwood Pond to the dumpsite at the Incinerator hillside. 

Contract requirements include the separation and removal of the larger pieces of metals and spreading and leveling of the waste materials at the delivery site.

Interested heavy equipment companies are asked to submit their bids in a sealed envelope with the name of the company and reference "clean-up of derelict site" with the following documents enclosed.

• Quotation for Removal of Waste Materials
• Certificate of Good Standing from Inland Revenue Department, Social Security Board and National Health Insurance
• Valid Trade Licence 2023
• Proof of Ownership of equipment or access to it (picture, insurance, registration, etc.)
• A brief outline of the company's experience and estimated time required to complete the work

All bids will be evaluated based on price, equipment, experience and reliability.  Please note that all documents must be included for consideration. The deadline for submission of quotations is Monday 24 July, 2023 at 12:00 noon.

All quotations must be hand delivered to the Department of Waste Management Office: 2^nd Floor, O'Neal Building (located in the Property Union Building adjacent to Happy Lion Restaurant) Botanic Station, Tortola Virgin Islands.
