Supervisor of Elections Ms. Juliette Penn is encouraging all eligible residents of the Fifth Electoral District to register to vote by November 16.

Ms. Penn said that the voter registration is ongoing and all persons in the Fifth Electoral District who are eligible and have attained the age of eighteen (18) years or will attain the age of 18 years on or before November 16 are encouraged to register to vote.  All other eligible persons are also encouraged to register to vote.

In accordance with Section 17(1) of the Elections (Amendment) Act No. 14 of 2011; persons in the Fifth Electoral District who have moved their place of residence and wish to transfer are encouraged to apply for a transfer on or before November 16.

Supporting documentary evidence can be in the form of Cable, Water or Electricity bills, a rent receipt or a notarised document stating new address. Registration and Transfer forms are available at the Office of the Supervisor of Elections and Post Offices throughout the Territory.
