The Environmental Health Division is hosting a virtual food handlers’ training session for food handlers who cards require updating on July 14 at 8:30am and 5:00pm. The training will consist of the Five (5) Keys to Safer Food. After the training, the following categories of food handlers will be scheduled to undergo a quiz at the Environmental Health Division’s Office:

1. New persons working or preparing to work in a food business.
2. Persons wanting to open a food business and require documentation for the Department of Trade.
3. Persons who require a food handler’s card for legal purposes that is, Immigration, Labor, and more.

Food handlers interested in attending the virtual training are asked to call the Division at 468-5110 to schedule an appointment or email ehd@gov.vg providing your name, phone number and email address.
