The BVI community is reminded that it is everyone’s responsibility to keep the Virgin Islands clean and green. You can assist by knowing the process for the removal of derelict vehicles:

• Step 1:  Once a derelict vehicle has been identified by the Department of Waste Management on public property, a notice is served to its owner or affixed to the vehicle.
• Step 2:  The owner of the vehicle has fourteen (14) days in which to have it removed.
• Step 3:  Once the notice expires and the vehicle remains in the same location, it will be removed by the department officials and disposed of.
