The Government of the Virgin Islands is inviting tenders for Retrofitting, Repair and Maintenance of the Ebenezer Thomas Primary School.
Procurement Coordinator of the Ministry of Finance, Mrs. Ishma Rhymer said the scope of works include Installation of fixtures and furnishings and equipment, plumbing repairs and enhancements, installation of electricals, windows and doors, and roof works.
Eligible bidders are required to submit a valid trade licence, along with certificates of good standing from the Director of the Social Security Board, the Commissioner of Inland Revenue, the Commercial Registry and the National Health Insurance. The date of issue on the certificates must be current, and should be no earlier than one month prior to the date of submission.
The Procurement Coordinator said the complete set of bidding documents will be made available electronically upon request to procurement@gov.vg effective May 6 with the subject title “Contractor Services for Retrofitting, Repair and Maintenance Services for Ebenezer Thomas Primary School – Sea Cow’s Bay”.
In accordance with the instruction of the bidding document, one (1) original, three (3) hard copies and one (1) flash drive containing the bidders documents must also be included in the original of the bid. The original is to be submitted in sealed envelopes clearly marked “Tender for the Contractor Services for Retrofitting, Repair and Maintenance Services for Ebenezer Thomas Primary School – Sea Cow’s Bay” and must be deposited in the Tender Box at the Ministry of Finance on June 4, 2019 no later than 10:00 a.m.
There will be a Pre-Tender meeting on Friday, May 24, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the Procurement/PSSU Conference Room, 2nd Floor Qwomar Trading Building #2. This will be followed by a site visit.
Tenders will be publicly opened at the Ministry of Finance (Procurement Unit) 2nd Floor Qwomar Building #2 on Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. All Tenderers are invited to attend.
