The Government of the Virgin Islands invites tenders from local qualified and reputable companies to supply daily transport of Althea Scatliffe students from the Festival Grounds to Enis Adams and Francis Lettsome Primary Schools for a period of two (2) years.

The proposed scope of service is comprised of lots for daily transportation of Althea Scatliffe Students from the Festival Grounds round trip to attend school at the Enis Adams and Francis Lettsome Primary Schools. Lot 1 is from the Festival Grounds round trip to Enis Adams Primary School and Lot 2 is from the Festival Grounds round trip to Francis Lettsome Primary School.

Procurement Coordinator, Mrs. Ishma Rhymer said eligible tenderers are required to have a valid Trade 2023 Licence and submit Certificates of Good Standing in respect of the Social Security and taxes, including Payroll and Income Tax, from VI Social Security Board, National Health Insurance and Inland Revenue.

Bid documents will be available from, Monday, 8th May 2023 between the hours of 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday. Bidding documents will be sent to bidders electronically upon request to procurement@gov.vg with the subject title “Supply of Bus Services for the Transportation of Althea Scatliffe Students from the Festival Ground to Enis Adams and Francis Lettsome Primary School”. 

A virtual pre-tender meeting is scheduled for Thursday, 18th May 2023 at 10:00 a.m. The access code and password will be provided prior to the meeting. All prospective tenderers are invited to attend.

Interested tenderers should submit one (1) original, three (3) copies and one (1) flash drive containing the bidder’s documents.  The original bid should be placed in a sealed envelope and marked “ORIGINAL” and the additional copies placed in another sealed envelope and marked “COPIES”.  Both envelopes should then be placed in an outer envelope and marked “Supply of Bus Services for the Transportation of Althea Scatliffe Students from the Festival Ground to Enis Adams and Francis Lettsome Primary School” and addressed to:

All tenders must be deposited in the Tender Box at the Ministry of Finance (Procurement Unit), Rita Frett Georges Building, Second Floor, Waterfront Drive, Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands by the bearer not later than 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 6th June 2023.  Tenders will not be received after the Tender Box is closed.

Tenders will be opened on Tuesday, 6th June, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Procurement Unit, Ministry of Finance, Rita Frett Georges Building, Second Floor.  Tenderers are invited to witness the opening via Webex.  Tenderers will be provided with the access code and password prior to the opening of Tenders.
