Ten persons graduate with a Home Care Basics Course Certificate from the BVI Red Cross. Minister for Health and Social Development, Honourable Carvin Malone commended the graduates for completing the three-month course load that provided them with the skillset to care for the elderly. Director of the BVI Red Cross, Ms. Stacy Lloyd stated that the course is an amazing opportunity as a stepping stone into the essential profession of Nursing, in the community. The graduates include Tracey-Ann Richards, Henrietta Georges, Una Watson, Aloma Brathwaite, Ava Matthews, Claudette, Blyden-Scatliffe, Juliet Denton, Marcia Gray, Efeen Lynch and Josephine Williams.
