The Telecommunications Regulatory Commission team will be visiting the sister islands from June 18 to 22 to distribute items to assist in preparations for the 2018 Hurricane Season.

The dates are as follows:

• June 18 at 1:30 p.m. Jost Van Dyke, Customs Building  
• June 19 at 10:30 a.m. Virgin Gorda, Vanterpool Administration Building Grounds
• June 20 at 10:30 a.m. Anegada library
• June 22 at 10:30 a.m. Tortola, parking lot adjacent the Road Town Fire Station

Distributed items will include power banks, night lights, charging kits, radios with LCD clocks, and first-aid kits.  This effort is in celebration of World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (WTISD) being held under the theme, “Trying to Reason with Hurricane Season; The Importance of Staying Connected During and After a Disaster”.
