Junior Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries Honourable Dr. Karl Dawson and officials are featured at a session on regional opportunities for training in agriculture with secondary school students.

Students were introduced to the many opportunities in agriculture  by presenters including Chief Executive Officer from the Guyana School of Agriculture, Mr. Gavin Ramnarain; Dean and Director from the University of the Virgin Islands, Dr. Usman Adamu; and President of the College of Agriculture, Science and Education Jamaica, Dr. Derrick Deslandes.

The session was part of activities for Agriculture and Fisheries Exhibition and Market 2024, being observed under the theme, “Sow the Seeds of Sustainability: Youth Fueling Food Security”.
