Statement from the Ministry of Education on the Top Ten Performers Among Public Schools in the Territory

Monday 17th June, 2024

The Ministry of Education is exceptionally proud to announce the outstanding performance of students graduating from the Territory's public primary and secondary schools. We are delighted to recognise and celebrate the hard work, dedication, and excellence demonstrated by all our students exiting primary and secondary schools this year and bid them all a hearty congratulations.

Among the top achievers in the primary level, we are proud to highlight Jezaan Demming from Bregado Flax Educational Centre Primary Division as the top primary student in the territory. This remarkable achievement is a testament to the quality education provided by our schools and the commitment of our students to excel.

On the secondary level, Rhiana Ramlall from Bregado Flax Educational Centre - Secondary Division has emerged as the top student in the territory. Rhiana’s exceptional performance exemplifies the high standards of academic excellence upheld by our secondary schools.

Additionally, we would like to recognise other primary schools with students placing in the top ten: Ebenezer Thomas Primary, Francis Lettsome Primary, and Enis Adams Primary. At the secondary level, Elmore Stoutt had six students who achieved top ten rankings, and Bregado Flax Educational Centre with four students.

The Ministry of Education congratulates each of these students and their families for their remarkable achievements. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the teachers,

administrators, and staff of all our schools for their unwavering dedication to nurturing and educating our young minds.

Once again, congratulations to all our students, and we look forward to witnessing their continued success in their educational journeys.

The Ministry of Education, Youth Affairs and Sports continues to provide high quality educational services, as well as facilitate access to and participation in sports and recreation, in order to enrich the lives of all residents of these Virgin Islands.
