Stakeholders from the BVI Tourist Board, National Parks Trust of the Virgin Islands, Unite BVI, BVI Ports Authority are featured as they participate in a two-day training of trainer’s workshop in Sargassum management. The aim is to build the capacity of coastal and marine managers and users of sargassum and focus on the rehabilitation of affected areas. The training is a collaborative effort between the Ministry of Environment, Natural Resources and Climate Change, the Caribbean Natural Resources Institute (CANARI) and the University of the West Indies Centre for Resources Management and Environmental Studies (UWI-CERMES).
